About Us
ITG is a small practice started by Genevieve Burgdorf AICB, who prides herself on offering a friendly, personalised service that takes into account your specific needs. Genevieve trained as an actress before becoming a bookkeeper, so she knows the ups and downs of all aspects of the entertainment industry and how this can affect finances.
Based in Covent Garden (ITG stands for ‘In The Garden’), we are ideally situated for all parts of London, and we also work remotely with clients across the UK.
What We Offer
ITG aims to give you professional, honest advice about your finances and tax affairs, in plain English. Our job is remove the uncertainties and worries around record-keeping and tax issues, freeing up your time and energy for your own work. Many of our current clients are in the entertainment industry, including adult services.

Some individuals and companies have a high number of financial transactions and need a full accounting package with ongoing bookkeeping support and VAT returns, while many self-employed people just need advice on how to set up their records, what expenses can be claimed and support in filing their self-assessment tax returns. We will work with you to find a solution that fits your lifestyle and business needs, while helping to ensure that all HMRC requirements are met.

Filing Tax Returns
Limited companies and LLPs may need a chartered accountant to file their accounts with Companies House, but we can meet all the accounting needs of sole traders, often at a much lower rate than the big accounting firms, and we also offer a personalised service, where you will be dealing with one individual throughout your time with us, rather than being passed around the firm.
We are fully insured and certified by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (Practice License number: 19430), as well as certified advisors for Xero and Quickbooks software.
